Another Trained Racist

Like Auckland and other centres, Wellington’s Metlink contrives to pay their skilled staff less than New Zealanders are willing to be paid by importing immigrant workers. No wonder they keep going on and on about diversity and anti-racism! It’s branding, self-preservation.
(This is also why Auckland’s bus services are on strike today. The migrants brought in so they could be under-paid are biting back!)

So here’s another story about Metlink standing up against racist back-lash toward their Indian import labour force. Given that the racist passenger is Maori in this instance it’s probably not going to be quite so useful in the ongoing marketing campaign…
“In a video shared on Twitter, the unidentified woman is seen arguing with the train conductor, who speaks with an Indian accent.
“The woman then says she is Tūhoe and will “shut all these trains down”.

Last August, on the other hand, the train conductor was the Maori. She also lost her professionalism and engaged in petty squabbles with the racist female passenger.
On that occasion, New Zealand celebrated! Headlines in every outlet. Even made news internationally!¹ The Mayor of Wellington gave the brave Maori a bloody Civic Safety Award and invited her to tea! That time it wasn’t a grown woman but a young girl who was then abandoned alone into the cold night!
So, will this male Indian conductor standing up to a grown Maori get the same recognition as a Maori woman standing up to a kid?
Hell no! That would be the mark of reason and consistency. But this is something else. This is Victimhood Culture. (Or, what’s left of it.²)
