Is Our Government a Terrorist Organisation?

The difference between a cult and a religion is the level of success. The difference between a pirate and a government is the same. Well then, is our Government just a highly successful terrorist organisation?
Sure, there are elections. Branches of Government such as the House, Executive, Judiciary too. The Fiscal Responsibility Act. Nice short election cycles. Official Information Act. These sorts of constitutional features mean that a pirate government needs to be pretty sophisticated. But having high overheads in terms of accountants and lawyers and press agents doesnt’ change the nature of a terrorist outfit. Just makes it more flash and raises the barriers to entry for new terrorist groups to vie for control over the Beehive’s 9th floor.
So, the decider for the New Zealand Government being a terrorist outfit or not does not depend on how that outfit is structured. It relly comes down to consent of the governed but that turns out to be a deep hole too.
We talk a lot about ‘informed consent’ these days because we’ve gone as far as recognising that people ought to know what it is they’re choosing. It’s consent if you get to pick A or B, Blue or Red, even if you don’t actually know the content. But if you know the details of A or B, Blue or Red, you know the policy and the history and the facts, then that’s informed consent.
For example, if someone offers you “cake” but it turns out that “cake” is an exciting new name for a punch in the nose then you have consented to being punched in the nose. You might not have consented if you had also been informed. Or, on Opposite Day, you ask not to be euthanised by your government but would have consented to a different option if you’d known about Opposite Day.
So far as informed consent goes we are, generally, offered it but decline. The New Zealand voter is not informed but that’s their choice. They don’t really care to know the policy of who they’re voting for. That’s called Rational Ignorance and it’s fine with me because the agent is consuming as much information as they decide to.

Informed Consent turns out to be just the tip of a deeper hole though. Because, information isn’t enough for someone to make a free choice either. They need to be free to think. To process information. And, they’re not!
The people are tortured and scared, propagandised and fused. Then they are asked for their consent, their willingness, after the fact, and they give it. Is that informed, unpressured, consent? Or just a more sophisticated form of enslavement?
Propagandised people can be threatened and abused and violated and consider it quite normal. If we can do it to our kids and wives and husbands at home then nobody’s going to think twice about continuing it at the political level.
If families are made up of unjust social hierarchies, and schools, then this is what is normalised. It’s the water the fish swims in and is therefore unable to percieve. Who knows of water who only knows water? Who knows of Statism who has ever and always grown up and been groomed and shown TV and movies and books steeped in Statism?
The people are responsible but they are not to blame. They’re in a trap and don’t even know it. It’s not like they’re waiting for Morphus to spring them out of the Matrix and wonder why he’s taking so long? An encounter with an Anarchist represents an existential threat to a Statist’s grip on reality. They’ve been conditioned to think murder and kidnapping, if by people in the right costumes, is “war” and “arrest.” That theft, if done by people with the right ID, is something wonderful called “taxation.” They tune in to TVNZ and RadioNZ and think the propaganda being offered up is “news.”

They’ve got the information for informed consent, sure enough. In a past age this would be a threat to our Government which is why they feared an educated population. For example, until the Reformation, the Bible was restricted to a language and an elite priesthood so the people couldn’t have informed consent. Now it’s not a problem for people to have information any amount of information since there’s no fear that they know how to process it! People can’t think rationally.
People hit a wall when they try to think rationally. It implicates Attachment Figures. They would draw conclusions that would make Father and Mother bad, even evil. They would look at their own lives and the controlling things they’ve done to others too, and recoil back into a mindset that made it OK. People want to be moral and will turn the world upside-down in order to have their own moral centre right-side up. The political debate is already won at the epistemological level and to challenge that represents an existential crisis. They’ll be triggered. And, they wont recognise it’s a problem in their mindset…but there is a problem….then their eyes fall on you and a synthesis presents itself. Projection! It’s you! This person telling me about tax and kidnapping is the problem! And so, the mind you try to free turns on you.
Is Our Government a Terrorist Organisation then? The answer is a qualified ‘yes’ for me. Because, so are most all of our institutions. So are our schools, so are our police, so are our families, so are our toddlers. Born innocent, we’re all quickly recruited into terrorist organisations and then those rival gangs proceede to do battle to destroy and rule over the others. Individualism and rational thought are latent in a sea of Population Level Group Think of In-Groups and Out-Groups. Labour 6.0 now or the National 6.0 to come are just effects. If they weren’t there we would have created them. And, we can no more blame politicians for playing this massive Transactional Analysis Game than ourselves, especially if we’re doing it too.
New Zealanders are decieved en mass and enlightened one at a time. As we are enlightened the terrorism becomes visible. All the terrorism, pirates, and warlords, not just the House of Representatives. To get to that we need something much more than informed consent. We need individual rational informed consent; Libertarian Anarchism.
