Pretty easy Game Theory calculation for any Mammalian Brain in the Protected Class like this 22yo service worker girl…Megan Lovelady is one of three people who have converted to Islam at the Christchurch mosque where 43 people were shot and killed. The 22-year-old cafe worker, who emigrated to New Zealand with her family as a child from the United States, now wears a full-face veil, has started calling herself by an Arabic name and prays five times a day with her Muslim brothers and sisters.- NZ Herald
Problem: I feel traumatised by attack on my population
Calculation: I estimate which group is most fearsome and likely to conquer the other
Identification: I radically adopt an identity to match the side calculated to win the fight for supremacy in the hopes they’ll adopt me or go easy on me or at least not kill me
Mitigation: While I’m waiting for the object of my trauma to overwhelm my population I make sure that my radical identification is socially acceptable to my population so I can get by in the meantime and have a buck each way
Note: The object of this girl’s trauma is not White Supremacists like Brenton Tarrant. She’s afraid of Muslims and going full Stockholm accordingly.
