The Coward Of Christchurch?

John Black of Right Minds is doing it too. On the mark when it comes to identifying the collectivism of dehumanising at the core of the Christchurch shooting. Utterly wrong to call him a coward.
The Coward Of Christchurch: Where The Right Goes Wrong
Tarrant was not a coward. I don’t see how it helps our understanding to mischaracterise him into some convenient category. It’s just name-calling to give us a ‘me too’/’not me’ narrative of protection as I also said yesterday. Don’t take my word for it, Black admits as much…
“I’ve thought long and hard about what to call him, for a man who styles himself a heroic saviour of the white race, this would seem the most insulting”
Instead of trying to think up a term that is most insulting why not go for accuracy?
“cowardice is killing unarmed people going about their business.”- A. Marsh
That’s not what happened is it? That’s out of context. Does ayone doubt that Tarrant could have murdered from hiding, from afar, with little risk to himself? Planting bombs? Sniper nest? Hit then run? Had he done that then I can see your case for him being a chicken.
In actual fact, the act we are talking about was done face-to-face and the killer put his name to what he did. Live streamed it. Wrote a book about it, including biography. Ran a gauntlet of armed police and military and private people out to kill or capture him. Let them take him alive. Is now facing the legal system, defending himself.
Tarrant is now taking on the highest court, the Government, and public opinion. He was prepared to fight it out with the combined forces of the armed New Zealand Police and Military. He was willing to think more deeply about these issues than many and then back it up with physical courage. It’s not cowardice, that’s an easy answer. Keep searching.
