He Who Must Not Be Named

There’s this primeval, superstitious drive in down-regulated humans where they mistake speech and thought for manifest reality. Sympathetic magic. Homeopathy. Voodoo. Lucky charms.
They think that by not saying the true name of “You-Know-Who” or “He Who Must Not Be Named” that Voldemort will let them alone. (Such people belong to HC and VC cultures, FYI.)
Of course they’re wrong and disarmed from dealing with the true monster we’re now facing. Learned helplessness. Screw ’em. Break a mirror, walk under a ladder, and say his name: Brenton Tarrant,Brenton Tarrant, Brenton Tarrant!
