Appeal Denied for Stef and Lauren

How transparently disingenuous of Goff.

The legal reality relied upon is that the Mayor’s administration care about the security, health, and safety of Lauren and Stef. So for their own good, Goff saved them from taking the stage like a hero.

OK. Yes. So that should be the story. NZ not safe for free speech. Terrorists get to decide who gets to talk and Goff is furious…what’s the city come to etc?

Instead, Goff’s statements all along have been that people may not speak and therefore may not think certain thoughts. Doesn’t care about safety or security of these people, quite the opposite. Even now he’s saying “get the message” instead of “I’m so glad I saved you from harm.”

Some Court of Appeal we’ve got. Somehow it hears everything Goff says about ‘I’m here to help them’ and ignores, legally, the consistent narrative of ‘No speech for you in my town’ that Goff is even now reiterating!
