This is like saying that a skull is for protecting a brain and cannot be used for drinking out of or as a paper weight or for anatomy lessons or decorating catacombs.

“Houses are for living in, not for speculation”

Objects exist in multiple applications limited only by the imagination of the user. Including as financial instruments.

Trying to delete one of these uses is metaphysical hubris. It’s the sort of idiot thing a government would do. The free market simply interprets such vain attempts at interference as damage and routes around them.
