Social Crisis takes priority over Temporal Crisis

In current years the Social Crisis takes priority over any temporal crisis. We’re working some stuff out.

Eventually the blow-back from this negligence will create a series of Temporal Crises we will be unable to ignore. Whatever we have worked out about our interior structure will be set in stone for the next 4 generations; Dissidents will be Othered. A new society resolute in its values and structure will turn to face the earthly crisis for its very survival.

New Zealand last ran this particular drama in the 1930s and before that the 1870s.  More about this on Anarchist History of New Zealand.

After the Crisis (Fourth Turning) comes the High (First Turning) such as we experienced in the post-war Boom. Another Boom is coming but we’ve first to resolve the Crisis.

To quote from Generations (1997)…

“A High brings a renaissance to community life. With the new civic order in place, people want to put the Crisis behind them and feel content about what they have collectively achieved. Any social issues left unresolved by the Crisis must now remain so.” – p101

We live in interesting times! Few are aware of how cyclical it all is or that there is a map.

My particular interest is in drawing the map for my country, New Zealand.
