These two (image left) are gone now. At least I hope so. Rod Carr just left the Climate Change Commission and James Shaw got out of the Green Party earlier in the year. Interestingly, I had a hunch that Shaw might have had a place in this Ministry. While doing the round in the media early last year he referenced an unlikely team-up with Chris Luxon’s National Opposition.

I think I might have been the only one to notice that.

But now, at last, Luxon has all but confirmed it.

There you have it. I wasn’t imagining things.

Carr and Shaw are bound to show up somewhere else doing something annoying. But hopefully less powerful than before so we don’t have to listen to them.
