Nick Smith’s Anti-Trump Campaign

Local government elections 2025 are coming but the campaigning has already started.

Leading the way with international headlines is Nelson Mayor Nick Smith’s made-up plight of Ernest Rutherford.

“President Trump claimed many achievements for the USA (scaling mountains, braving dangers, ending slavery,..) without saying his country was the only one or the first one to have done so. Yet in many cases, such as nuclear fission (splitting the atom,) they are indeed the undisputed world leaders.

Nelson has plenty of legitimate issues but Nicholas Rex knows how to win elections.

Silly people, and anti-Trump folks, will quickly believe that Rutherford has been attacked without checking the facts. And our Legacy Media (rapidly losing interest and trust, and staff..) pitch in to help the nonsense story along.

Government is a failure. Of course Smith isn’t focused on any of Nelson’s issues that don’t help him win. The hospital is in crisis. Whales are washing up and having to be euthanised on Nelson beaches. Fluoride in the water…but Smith wont allow people to talk about it. Historic batches destroyed on the Boulder Bank. The CBD is going backwards and the air in Richmond stinks. A very popular policewoman was run down by a car and killed in the street….

“Orange man bad,” says Nick (with extra steps) and he’ll storm in again to office.

It’s early yet. Much more of this rubbish yet to come all around the country. I advise you to enjoy what you can but certainly don’t get involved in the election and above all do not vote. It only encourages them.
