ECAN Spyover

Environment Canterbury just casually mentioned that they “flyover” farms to police them. Doing it in such a way as to normalise it and make it seem like a regular annual occurrence. You, on the ground, are represented as milk cow with her head down grazing and not even noticing.
This year’s winter grazing flyovers will be in South Canterbury 👇
There will be two flights, one in autumn (pre-season) and the second in winter (mid-season). A light fixed-wing aircraft will be used.
Why we do winter grazing flyovers?
➡️ Helps us identify where practices can be improved
➡️ Shows us where our staff can provide support
➡️ Reveals good practices being implementedGood practice management:
1. Critical source areas (land prone to carrying runoff to waterways): Must be fenced off to keep stock out and left in pasture, ungrazed2. Exclude stock from significant waterways, drains, and wetlands (at least a 5m buffer, more for slopes)

Flyover? More like Government Spyover!
This resembles a criminal search and should be considered as one. Akin to the police rummaging through your house and digital devices with no warrant to see if there is anything they should charge you for.
Or, a doctor subjecting you to a physical examination without your consent to see if he can quarantine or restrict you or jab you in accord with the Health Act.
A priest or imam might like to put you under observation because they want to make Youtube sermons with you as their main character…
A panel beater gets to walk into your shed to check your car for dents any time, day or night, and has the power to decide to subject you to his services..
A health inspector comes into your kitchen and tastes your cooking in case he needs to shut down dinner for not being up to his standards. Hell, teachers already do that with kids lunches don’t they?
The farmers themselves are being farmed. On the great tax plantation they regulate us and milk us.
If anyone deserves to be placed under surveillance it’s these politicians and bureaucrats. Imagine how much trouble they would get in if their workplaces were bugged the same way they do to us.
